Moby wrap question.

I discover the moby website recommends baby be 8 lb to use it. Information technology seems many of you are using them within a few days of birth. Are y'all post-obit then8 lb recommendation or at what weight are you using information technology with your infants? My daughter didn't hit 8 lb until she was iii months old and we used the Baby Bjorne later that, but being fall I would similar to apply a carrier or wrap to things like the store, football games, festivals...

I never knew there was a weight minimum with the Moby. I used it right abroad with my son and he was born at 6lb 4oz. I don't remember how former he was when he got to 8lbs.

@doodledogowner,

I call back every bit long as your babe is comfy and his head is always facing where he/she tin breathe then the baby should be fine. I wish I had mine correct away but I didn't become ane til my son was two months old.

I used mine from virtually a week old with my last infant. My midwife recommended information technology every bit he wouldn't slumber abroad from me. He was 7 lbs 12oz.

@cassplus4,

I'm expecting a 5 1/2 to 6 1/ii lb baby based on my nativity weight, husband'south birth weight and my daughter'southward birth weight. I only am worried virtually infant falling threw or

Something. The moby makes me a footling uncomfortable because information technology'due south just a strip

Of fabric with no real construction.

I've been using mine since we got home. Babe boy was 5lbs 11o when we came abode. Did not realize there was a weight minimum, as ours is a hand me down. Baby boy loves it and then do I! He's not 8lbs yet, but I take no plans to stop using information technology.

@janekaye,

Thanks. This makes me feel a bit ameliorate

I'm by no ways a baby wearer when at home only information technology'due south nice to take an option by the stroller when out and nearly.

I'm planning on using mine tomorrow and my son was built-in Th at 6lb 12 oz. granted our kickoff appointment of the day is with the pediatrician and I plan on request him what he thinks then. I'm really hoping he says there shouldn't be an issue because I intend on using it while super C does chemo so I don't have to lug the carrier or bulldoze the gunkhole (aka double stroller). The chemo clinic isn't super huge so the less space I take up the amend.

I wrapped my son with my moby when he was yet in the nicu just weighin 5lbs

@doodledogowner,

I besides used it right away. My second was built-in on eight/8 at 6lbs, 2oz and loves information technology in there. I nigh think it'due south easier when they are so pocket-size yet.

Thank you everyone for the answers. FTM777,

I hope everything goes

Well with chemo and trivial guy's fever passes before long.
